O ur passion has always been exclusive cars and individual trips. That was the impetus to equip a touring vehicle completely according to our wishes. Of course, it should be something special and different from the usual campervans on the market. For our project, we gathered craftsmen and specialists from our region and convinced them to support us in the implementation. That was the birth of SODStone OffroadDesign. SODis thevehiclemanufacturer for luxurious campervans andexclusivemobilehomes based in theBavarianOberland, southofMunich.We don’t want to reinvent thewheel, we just want to make things better and more beautiful. This is also the reason why we produce a limited number of vehicles per year. Every vehicle that leaves our factory is a unique piece that is individually handcrafted with passion and professionalism and adapted to the respective customer requirements. It all started with the transformation of standard vehicles into off-road campervans with an extraordinary design. Our successful BASE series is based on the Grand California from Volkswagen. The expansion stages range from the pre-configured Level One to the BASE Individual, which is completely customised. The unique SOD look is already recognisable from the outside and is consistently carried through to the interior. However, the StoneOffroadDesign concept not only includes the design but also the vehicle technology. Specially developed body parts, personalised rims, the extremely raised chassis, and the high-performance braking systemmake our vehicles something quite extraordinary. A targeted engine tuning and the use of typical off- road accessories round off the range. The interior impresses with handcrafted leather upholstery and the use of high-quality materials, such as wood and natural stone. The superbly coordinated entertainment system is unique for this vehicle class. Our customers’ constant demand for larger vehicles inSODdesignultimately inspired us to create our RISE and PEAK series. For this purpose, we brought together off- road specialists and experienced vehicle builders and designed top-class expedition vehicles.
