A Full Size Bronze Blue Whale Skeleton Sculpture. Featuring a natural Wind Pipe Instrument. A City Defining Sculpture to be Filmed for a Major Documentary. This bronze sculpture in development, will feature a full size adult blue whale skeleton, the largest living creature ever to live. The blue whales lower mandibles are the largest bones on earth, and to make this bronze sculpture even more spectacular, I propose to turn these mandibles into natural wind blown instruments. Each will be tuned to give a harmonic beautiful melancholy song, when blown by the wind. The blue whales flippers look like musical instruments, so incredibly I propose to turn these into wind blown instruments as well, each being tuned to give the same musical wind blown effect as the mandibles. I think you would agree, a truly magnificent world renown public sculpture. Perfect for your city. The creation of this monumental sculpture is to be filmed for a serious documentary, to be aired on Netflix or Amazon Prime. The documentary will feature interviews with the clients, Stephen Cawston, filming the city etc and will cover the full creation process up to the installation of the bronze sculpture.
