Embarking on this mesmerizing exploration of the past, Azza Fahmy draws inspiration from the sacred tombs and temples of Egypt, where the Lotus flower has held profound significance for millennia. The Lotus, symbolizing creation and rebirth, is celebrated in this collection as a representation of the flourishing dawn. The collection includes the Lotus Pectoral Collar and the Lotus Bouquet Cuff, both featuring the Lotus flower in various natural forms. They are surrounded by pharaonic flowering lotuses, lotus buds, lily-pads, and rosettes, with “ehker” signs denoting adornment. The Lotus Drop Earrings encapsulate ancient Egyptian symbols, drawing inspiration from the shen-sign representing eternity.
