I n the realm of horlogerie, Longines has once again demonstrated its mastery of elegance with the expansion of its MINI DOLCEVITA line. This exquisite collection, introduced in 2023, now embraces new models adorned with double tour straps, a testament to the brand’s commitment to refined sophistication. These new iterations showcase an array of sumptuous Nappa leather straps in a palette that spans from classic black to luxurious beige gold, delicate pink, passionate red, vibrant orange, and verdant green. Each strap, an exclusive Longines design, caresses the wrist with a gentle embrace, embodying the essence of comfort and style. The MINI DOLCEVITA’s emblematic rectangular case, available with or without the scintillating allure of diamond settings, serves as a canvas for these horological masterpieces. Each timepiece is a celebration of the brand’s ethos that true elegance resides in the minutiae of design. To unveil these horological gems, Longines has collaborated with its Ambassador of Elegance, the esteemed Kate Winslet, in a campaign that artfully captures her unique perspective on the passage of time. The Mini DolceVita, with its discreet profile and timeless aesthetic variations, is a quintessential representation of Longines’ philosophy of quiet luxury and understated elegance. This contemporary jewellery watch pays homage to the Longines DolceVita family, which draws inspiration from a legendary timepiece created by the brand in 1927. In a subtle nod to the equestrian world, a realm deeply cherished by Longines, the strap holes are elegantly numbered from 1 to 6 in hot-press printing, reminiscent of the stirrup leathers that connect a saddle to a horse’s stirrups. The new Mini DolceVita models are housed in a stainless- steel rectangular case measuring 21.50 mm x 29.00 mm, offering water resistance to 3 bar (30 metres). At their heart beats the high-precision L178 quartz movement, a testament to Longines’ commitment to horological excellence. The collection presents six variants, each a unique expression of elegance. Three versions feature a silvered rectangular Roman dial adorned with exquisite flinqué decoration, its delicate struck geometric motifs creating a mesmerizing guilloche-work appearance. Painted Roman numerals and blued steel hands complete the dial’s refined aesthetic, while a square small seconds subdial graces the 6 o’clock position. The remaining three variants showcase a circular silvered sand-blasted Cosmo dial. A matt white hours indicator delineates the external square part from the interior circle, creating a captivating visual interplay.
