Service & Hospitality The staff at La Sultana are renowned for their exceptional service and hospitality. Always immaculately and stylishly dressed, all the staff, from the waiters and housekeeping team to the chefs and musicians, were all unfailingly warm, polite and friendly. Special mention must go to the Head Concierge at La Sultana Hotels, Saida Loutou, who is on the cusp of her 25 th anniversary with the hotel. Saida is the elected President of Clé d’Or Maroc. Les Clefs d’Or (translated as The Golden Keys) is a professional association of hotel concierges, with approximately 4000 members working in over 80 countries and 530 destinations, in literally every corner of the world. Saida is the first woman in Africa and the Middle East taking the role of President of the association in her own country. It was easy to see why she was recognised with such honours, as she was the perfect host, extending my stay when plans suddenly changed, and ensuring my visit was utterly untouched by any kind of inconvenience.
