Sleek Design Meets Art Deco With the new bejewelled masterpieces, the clean, industrial design of Clic-Clac meets the geometric patterns of Art Deco aesthetics. Inspired by the vibrant energy of Paris and New York City in the Roaring Twenties - a time that saw the remarkable coming together of age-old craftsmanship and ground-breaking technology - artistic director Christophe Tollemer harmonised the sharp lines of Clic-Clac with contrasting curves and delicate details. The designs evoke the elegance of 1920s accessory cases, sophisticated, timeless, and refined. The first new Clic-Clac jewellery piece, Nœud , presents a stylized knot evocative of a bow, or even a modern reinterpretation of the yin-yang symbol. Henry Jacques collaborated with craftsmen to delicately set diamonds and gems into the robust (titanium or gold) case. Requiring exceptional precision and skill, it took more than two years to perfect this process of embellishment. The design features intricate patterns of planes and angles, with baguette and fancy baguette diamonds typical of the Art Deco style. 132 IF-VVS diamonds, totalling 5.6 carats, adorn the model, beautifully highlighting the gem that takes centre stage. Nœud is available in four variations, each set with diamonds. The distinction lies in the centrepiece gemstone: extra white or rose mother-of-pearl, natural black onyx, or immaculate turquoise. The white mother-of-pearl brings a sense of relaxation, while pink symbolizes good luck. Black onyx is associated with strength, and turquoise, a rare and ancient lucky charm for kings and warriors, is said to offer protection. 266 | Simply Abu Dhabi
