Mandarin Oriental HYDE PARK LONDON The Fan To celebrate the relaunch of Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, esteemed British Fashion Designer Jenny Packham was selected to design a bespoke fan for the hotel. Having held her own wedding in The Ballroom, Jenny shares a close relationship with Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London and drew on its unique setting overlooking the park to create a stunning piece depicting a collage of green foliage. Delicate organza appliqued leaves embellished with sequins and crystals, and hand-embroidered with metallic threads, create the body of the fan, which is supported by rosewood sticks, laser cut in the pattern of the railings on the gates of nearby Apsley House.
