interconnectedness of body, mind, and emotions. This isn’t just exercise—it’s a comprehensive journey toward self- realisation. By addressing physical, mental, and emotional health in harmony, Flow60 empowers practitioners to unlock new levels of vitality, resilience, and inner peace. The Bali Retreat: AWeek of Inner Work The annual Flow60 Bali Retreat is a cornerstone of Mike’s mission to help people discover self-awareness and peace. The retreat unfolds on sacred Balinese ground—a place where spirit breathes through every ritual, and reverence for the land is a living tradition. Here, guests are encouraged to move slowly, listen deeply, and honour the people, culture, and energy that sustain the island. The Bali Beach Glamping site is quite the setting. The vast sweep of ocean is always in view—whether during Flow60 morning practice, ice baths, kirtan, evening bonfires, or fire and water ceremonies. Gratitude flows, but this is no holiday camp. The roughly forty participants are here to grow, learn, transform and heal. As growth happens when participants lean into discomfort, people are aware of the emotional work that comes alongside the paradise-like location. I spoke with two guests at different ends of the age spectrum. Reflecting on why he came to the retreat from his home in Israel, Jonathan Levy, 22, said, “I’m here because of a lot of stuff in my past. I want to dive deep into who I am and who I want to be, and to move in life with ease and find my way to purpose.” Commenting on why he came to Mike’s retreat, Gavin Slater, 64, from Australia, said, “Life wasn’t going anywhere. I was stuck in a rut, no direction or enthusiasm for life. Mike was new to me. I hadn’t heard of Flow60 before, and I signed up before I really investigated what the hell I was putting myself into.” Simply Abu Dhabi | 297
