This is the story of how a collection was born. It all began by looking at stones and searching for inspiration, listening to the feelings they evoked and the senses they awakened with their touch. They have a colour, often subtle, a density, an intensity, an attraction. They play with the light. They fascinate. They enchant, even mesmerise. But more than that… It is inexpressible. How to put a feeling, an emotion into words? Stones have a language beyond words – like a perfume. But more than that… This association of ideas gave birth to a collection, a tribute to femininity through a journey into the universe of fragrance. A woman's fragrance. Starting from this idea, from the enchantment of the senses, the collection began to build an atmosphere of perfume around stones. Cartier has used several olfactory families to enhance its unique creations. A GARDEN FULL OF VOLUPTUOUS, FLORAL FRAGRANCES. The beauty of the stones is matched only by the natural scent of flowers. Here the stones carry within them the magic of nature, its mysterious vibrations… Each creation interprets nature, the curves of the flowers, their heady aromas. But nature reasserts itself as the uncontested master, for the jeweller as for the perfumer. Such as the iris, that fatal flower whose sensuality is captured by the baroque sapphire… The honeysuckle blends the captivating opal with the orange-tinted sapphire… The rubellite becomes a lilac with an intoxicating fragrance...
