This kind of versatility and quality means that the gourmet team can turn their hand to any kind of occasion, staging not only phenomenal dinners, but also smart business lunches, exciting coffee breaks, and much more. It’s fair to say that we were hugely taken with all that we saw and heard. The Jumeirah’s Conference Centre seemed ideal for a whole range of business and social functions. We’ve been talking about holding a launch party for the opening of Simply Abu Dhabi’s offices and where we might hold it. And all I can say is that we’ve certainly now been given some food for thought... watch this space! Fresh flavours The amazing thing, though, is that these banqueting opportunities are just one part of the mouthwatering gastronomic experiences that await visitors to the Jumeirah. In total, the hotel has a choice of 12 restaurants, bars and lounges. You can read all about the brilliant time we had at the signature restaurants Quest – a lovely pan-Asian venue on Level 63 - and Li Beirut – a chic Lebanese eatery with sea views and outdoor terrace seating – elsewhere in this issue (pages 48 and 52). A third signature restaurant, Scott’s, located just off the beach, will open in October, specialising in seafood. And there are many other more casual
