Covering 300 square metres, the boutique is an embodiment of the amazing Burberry store design concept, which was developed by Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey using British materials and themes throughout. Since he joined Burberry from Gucci in 2011, creative genius Bailey has certainly made his mark at the iconic British brand. He is responsible for the design of all Burberry’s exquisite collections and product lines, including Burberry Prorsum, Burberry London, and Thomas Burberry. As well as store design, he is also responsible for the company's stunning image, including its superb advertising campaigns, and its brilliant corporate art. The incredibly talented Bailey is renowned both for the beauty of the music he uses at his shows, and the beauty of the people in his ad campaigns (people like Lily Donaldson, Sam Riley, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kate Moss, Stella Tennant and Sophie Dahl). Bailey’s masterful artistic vision is evident in the powerful design of the new store in the Avenue. The boutique incorporates thrilling state-of-the-art technology, with LED flat screen video walls showcasing Burberry digital content, controlled by the brand’s global headquarters in London. The beautiful store holds sumptuous items in womenswear, menswear, non apparel, eyewear, fragrances, and watches. These all fall within Burberry’s superlative collections, which include Burberry Prorsum, Burberry London, and Burberry Accessories. Burberry has seven other stores in the UAE: Marina Mall and Marina Mall Children’s in Abu Dhabi, Dubai Mall Flagship store, Mall of the Emirates, Wafi Mall, Deira City Center and Burjuman and in Dubai. All these superb stores are operated through Burberry Middle East, a joint venture announced at the end of 2008.
