And even better, it’s not even the only manufacturer of gorgeous opulent watches with an outlet in Etihad Towers. World class manufacturer Piaget has also opened a new boutique, with a fabulous design created by the talented Christine Querlioz. Piaget, the illustrious watchmaking brand, recently opened the doors to its latest, exquisite boutique in the Gulf. This is the seventh Piaget outlet in a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) country. Piaget’s boutiques have always been known for promoting the brand’s blend of grace and sophistication, yet this one goes a step further. Following in the footsteps of the boutiques at Harrods in London and in Zurich, Switzerland, this is the third new boutique worldwide to have opened with Piaget’s latest architectural concept. Spanning 156 square metres, Piaget’s new architectural identity was created by Christine Querlioz from Paris’ renowned “Atelier Sasha”. Querlioz is credited with covering the design and implementation of concepts for numerous prestigious clients in addition to Piaget. Conveying a discreet elegance that is sensed as well as seen, the new architecture pays tribute to the rich Swiss identity and legacy of the brand that has made it an inimitable signature in Haute Horlogerie and Haute Joaillerie since 1874. Philippe-Leopold Metzger, Chief Executive Officer of Piaget, highlighted the importance of the newest boutique in the Middle East market for the brand, saying: “The opening of the first internal boutique for Piaget in the Middle East was a tremendous challenge. It is bringing the brand closer to our end customers and giving very important feedback on the desires of the local clients. The Middle East is more than ever a strategic area for Piaget.
