With wonderful facilities like these, it’s no surprise at all that the Address Downtown has picked up a raft of awards. This year, it was once again the only hotel in Dubai to be included in the list of Traveller’s Awards in the Overseas Business Hotels category. The Address Downtown Dubai was ranked at number 10 in the 20 top Overseas Business Hotels with a score of 83.01, across all its operations. It is one of only two hotels in the UAE to secure a position on the prestigious list – and it has done so for the second consecutive time. The Address Downtown Dubai has also won many other awards. In 2011 alone it collected: a Reader’s Travel Award for Overseas Business Hotel; a Best Hotel in The World Award; a Best Serviced Residences inMiddle East Award; and UAE’s Leading Business Hotel. The team behind the Address Downtown can be justifiably proud of what they have done. After our fantastic stay at the Address Downtown, we returned to Abu Dhabi. The trip had made us reflect on how silly it is to wonder which of these two sumptuous Emirates is ‘better’. That idea means nothing to us. Both Abu Dhabi and Dubai are superb. Opulence comes in all shapes and forms. We are just glad that the UAE has so many creative people, likeMr Zuber, making our home country one of the world’s epicentres of luxury.
