2 1 7 S I M P LY A B U DH A B I L egendary car manufacturer Lamborghini unveiled the stunning new Urus SUV concept car at the prestigious Auto China show in Beijing in 2012. In keeping with the tradition of the peerless brand, the Urus is named after a bull. Also known as aurochs, the powerful Spanish-bred urus is believed to be a wild ancestor of modern bulls. That tamed wildness is evident in the Lamborghini of the same name. The beautifully designed body of the concept car is in impressive carbon fibre. The powerful Urus will have an impressive 600-hp output, but due to sophisticated engineering and cutting edge lightweight construction, will achieve the lowest carbon dioxide emissions in its class. The elegant four-seater Urus is 4955mm long, 1996mm wide and 1660mm high. Lamborghini want the luxurious car to be "for everyday use, for the family, for leisure pursuits with friends". It will certainly fit the bill for all of those requirements – but also borrows from its proud ancestry to offer thrills when they’re wanted!
