So, how do we sum up such a rich, stylish and luxurious stay? It was a varied and wonderfully enjoyable experience: one that represented the very height of opulence. In our busy yet deeply restorative time at the Shangri-La, we really got an idea of what the hotel has to offer. It has exquisite food, a sublime spa, and rooms that are infused to their core with pure opulence and a detailed focus on guests’ needs. Then there are the three bars – all serving superb non- alcoholic drinks – four swimming pools, and two children's pools. This amazing array of facilities is, naturally, massively impressive – but it’s the underlying ethos that ties it all together. It’s an unwavering commitment to luxury that really makes this place something special. It’s a philosophy that can be seen in every meal, every room, and even every time visitors are greeted by the charming staff. Of course, the Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, AbuDhabi is part of a hugely prestigious global network of hotels – and one that has been richly and deservedly endowed with awards. Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, based in Hong Kong, has been voted Best Business Hotel Brand in Asia Pacific for ten consecutive years, and has also won numerous other awards. The sought- after Best Business Hotel in the World title was given to Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore. This hotel was also voted Best Business Hotel in Asia-Pacific and Best Business Hotel in Singapore. Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong; Makati Shangri-La, Manila; and Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai each won the Best Business Hotel awards in their cities. We would be incredibly surprised if the Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi did not follow hot on the heels of these establishments to win similar awards in the near future. This hotel is certainly one of the finest we have ever stayed in. It simply exudes pure class. We were completely smitten, and we’ve already booked our next stay.
