O ne of Hublot’s bestsellers, the extra-thin skeleton Classic Fusion timepiece boasts a watch that has been designed according to the dynamic and modern characteristics of the brand. Unveiled at last year's BaselWorld, initially in King Gold and titanium, its latest incarnation boasts an elegant case fashioned entirely from polished, satin-finished black ceramic. The piece has a diameter of 45 millimetres and is equipped with Hublot's new Classico movement (HUB1300), entirely designed and developed in the brand's manufacture in Nyon, Switzerland. At 2.90 millimetres thick, the watch comprises 130 components that are showcased by the skeleton design – featuring a resolutely graphic style enabling expert eyes to admire the piece's regulating mechanism. On the dial, it is worth noting that the small second hand at seven o'clock and the hands are similar in design to those on the first Hublot watches, a clever reference to the history of the brand. The assembly is complemented by a strap made in black alligator stitched onto rubber and a deployant buckle to ensure it offers the greatest possible comfort, flexibility and durability. Hublot’s Classic Fusion Extra-Thin Skeleton Black Ceramic Timepiece is practical on an everyday level, offering a 90-hour power reserve and water resistance to 50 metres. Striking a remarkable balance between the classic extra-thin design and Hublot's trademark dynamic and modern ‘all-black’ look, this piece is a fine exercise in style, providing a wonderful demonstration of the principle of fusion between tradition and modernity. 1 1 1 S I M P LY A B U DH A B I
