At the helm is China Tang, the renowned ex-Dorchester Hotel pastry chef, who has created a dessert menu of decadent Pan Asian treats that includes Ginger Lime Cheese Cake with Pineapple Salsa, Chocolate Sesame Bars with Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream, and Mango Pearls with Coconut Cream. We had difficulty choosing from such a list and, after much discussion, decided to share all three of the above! Beautifully presented and creatively composed, the Chocolate Sesame Bars were my favorite – but for those with a preference for more fruity creations the Mango Pearls with Coconut Cream is one to try. As we wrapped up our meal, we noticed the approaching crowd of guests eager to hear the tunes of the resident DJ playing a subtle mix of electro-style rhythms coupled with ethnic and tribal sounds. We decided to stay on a bit longer to relish in the rich scene.
