B eno Saradzic is an award-winning photographer, filmmaker and art director based in Abu Dhabi who long been good friends with Arnie and Jordana. For the past 18 years, Saradzic has trained his eye in the arts of seeing as well as story telling through 3D computer-generated imagery as an animator and master Architectural Visualization specialist. His acute sense for aesthetics, gift for visual composition and intricate methods of 'selling the conceptual idea' was fine-tuned through the 1990s and mid 2000s within the realm of 3D computer-generated worlds and in post-production suites. Saradzic then built a broad portfolio of complex architectural CGI films and visualizations used as marketing collaterals for some of the biggest real estate developers, architects and designers throughout the Middle East and Europe. He has won multiple accolades for his work in the CG architectural visualization field, including winner of the Tektronix’s International Design Visualization competition. In 2007, Beno began to explore new avenues in the film industry as an Art Director and has since rediscovered his profound passion for film and photography. In April 2011, he completed his first, self-produced time-lapse film, ‘Abu Dhabi 2011’, which gained him international mass media exposure and well over a million views on the internet. He has since won numerous awards for his photography and time lapse cinematography, including Winner of the 1st prize for the ‘Earth Hour 2011’ photo contest organized by ADGAS/WWF; Gold Medal Winner of the Egypt IPC 2012, photography contest for the theme of architecture; double-winner in the architectural photography category of the Spaces of Light – Second Season photo contest organized by the Sheikh Zayed GrandMosque under the patronage of H.H. SheikhMansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Ministry of Presidential Affairs; Finalist of National Geographic 2012 International Photo Contest, among many other accolades. 4 6 S I M P LY A B U DH A B I
