The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi has designated SEHA Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Mohammed Medical City in Al Ain as a Centre of Excellence for stroke treatment, establishing the region's premier destination for comprehensive acute stroke care and rehabilitation services.

The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi has conferred the distinguished designation of Centre of Excellence for stroke upon SEHA Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Mohammed Medical City in Al Ain Region, marking a significant advancement in the provision of specialised neurological care across the Emirate. This recognition reflects the facility’s unwavering commitment to clinical excellence and positions it as Al Ain’s foremost destination for comprehensive stroke treatment and management.

As a designated Centre of Excellence, STMC delivers exceptional, high-quality care encompassing a comprehensive spectrum of stroke treatment options. These include advanced vascular surgeries, neurosurgical interventions and sophisticated clot-dissolving therapies, all underpinned by cutting-edge diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities.
