MOTN Festival Returns for Tenth Anniversary Season Across Abu Dhabi
The celebrated Magic of the Night festival marks a decade of enchantment with an expanded winter programme spanning five weeks across Abu Dhabi City, Al Ain Region and Al Dhafra Region, introducing three imaginative new themed zones and an array of first-to-Abu Dhabi culinary experiences.
The Magic of the Night festival celebrates its tenth anniversary this winter with an expansive edition that promises to captivate visitors across multiple regions of Abu Dhabi. Running from 28 November 2026 through 3 January 2027, the festival presents more than five weeks of carefully curated family entertainment, organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi.
The festival experience unfolds across three distinct locations. At Al Mugheirah Bay in Al Dhafra Region and Al Jahili Park in Al Ain Region, festivities commence on 28 November and continue through 2 December, whilst the principal celebration takes place along Abu Dhabi Corniche from 9 December 2026 to 3 January 2027.
Three Dimensions of Wonder
The World of Wonder edition introduces three thoughtfully designed themed zones within Abu Dhabi City, each crafted to resonate with particular audiences. Melting Aurora emerges as a vibrant realm of colour, imagination and discovery, conceived specifically for younger visitors seeking playful exploration. Beyond the Sky offers teenagers and young adults an energetic, immersive atmosphere centred on exploration and novel experiences. The Golden Hour extends its appeal to everyone, bringing families and friends together through first-to-Abu Dhabi culinary concepts, viral food trends, A-list performances, entertainment, curated shopping experiences and the simple pleasure of shared time.
Entertainment and Attractions
The 2026 iteration brings forward all cherished family favourites alongside a fresh collection of new rides, experiences and attractions. Guests encounter striking art installations throughout the festival grounds, savour live music from both local and international artists, and discover curated retail experiences that bridge culture, fashion and creativity in distinctive ways.
