The Eighth Abu Dhabi International Boat Show Returns in November with Record Ambitions

Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the marina's most significant gathering returns to ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, promising an unprecedented celebration of life on the water across four days in November.

The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show has established itself as the Gulf region’s premier maritime gathering, and its eighth edition, taking place from 19 to 22 November at the Marina Hall, ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, is poised to surpass all previous iterations. Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, this edition represents the largest in the show’s history, uniting the global marine community on a single platform dedicated to the latest innovations, products and services shaping life on the water.

Organised by ADNEC Group, a Modon company, the forthcoming edition builds on remarkable momentum. The 2025 edition spanned more than 85,000 square metres, featured 1,068 exhibitors and brands from across the world, and welcomed over 52,000 visitors, representing a 20 per cent increase from the previous year. Since its launch in 2018, the boat show has delivered consistent year on year growth, expanding into one of the region’s largest events dedicated to all aspects of the marine industry. The timing coincides with the beginning of the Gulf marine season, affording visitors unrivalled access to the latest marine technologies and solutions.

Humaid Al Dhaheri, Group CEO of ADNEC Group, reflected on the show’s significance: “The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show has solidified its position as the region’s leading event dedicated to all aspects of the marine ecosystem. The eighth edition will be the largest in the show’s history, featuring exhibitors and brands from across the world showcasing the latest products and solutions.” He added that the unlimited support and guidance from H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan has been instrumental in the event’s success.

The exhibition spans indoor halls, outdoor displays and a Marina Waterfront showcase, creating an immersive environment for newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts alike. For those embarking on their marine journey, the boat show serves as a gateway into the world of boating, whether exploring entry level vessels, discovering the latest marine equipment and fishing gear, or seeking expert guidance. Support from leading marine organisations including Abu Dhabi Maritime, the Captains Club and local marinas across Abu Dhabi ensures visitors gain access to a wealth of knowledge tailored to every stage of the marine experience.

A standout returning feature, the Charter Show remains the only event of its kind in the region, bringing together the foremost charter companies and attracting high net worth visitors seeking access to luxury superyachts, curated itineraries and immersive on water experiences. This exclusive platform offers leading brands direct access to audiences actively seeking the finest in leisure and lifestyle on the open seas.

In line with the UAE Year of Family Initiative, the boat show brings back several crowd favourite features and family friendly activities alongside an expanded entertainment programme. Over four days, visitors will experience on water displays and themed interactive demonstrations, reinforcing the show’s commitment to celebrating the marine lifestyle across all ages and levels of experience.

What it means for Abu Dhabi

The boat show’s expansion underscores Abu Dhabi’s growing prominence as a centre for marine innovation and lifestyle. The event attracts global brands and industry leaders to showcase solutions in a market of increasing sophistication, whilst simultaneously introducing residents and visitors to the maritime pursuits that define life in the Emirate.

As the capital’s marine ecosystem continues to flourish, the boat show reflects broader initiatives across Abu Dhabi’s waterfront communities. The UAE Marine Sports Federation’s advancing prominence in marine sports and the vitality of waterfront destinations underscore how deeply the maritime dimension has become woven into Abu Dhabi’s cultural and recreational identity.
