The education and training arm of Capital H strengthens its institutional ecosystem through collaborations with leading academic institutions, technology companies and professional organisations.
The ambition to reshape education for evolving labour market demands has taken tangible form through a significant expansion of institutional partnerships. IN^X Education, the education and training division of Capital H, the investment arm of the Higher Colleges of Technology, has formalised 16 new Memoranda of Understanding with academic institutions, technology companies and professional organisations spanning both local and international contexts.
The agreements were signed during IN^X Next 2026, an event held under the patronage of Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports and Chairman of Capital H. The gathering, themed “Future of Education, Skills, and Workforce Development”, convened leaders, experts and decision-makers from government, education and business sectors to consider how institutional capacity might evolve to meet emerging labour market requirements.
The new partnerships encompass a diverse constellation of expertise. Among the signatories are Harvard Business School Club of the GCC and Singularity University, reflecting the network’s commitment to global academic excellence. Technology partnerships include Oracle and Pearson, whilst professional organisations such as the Project Management Institute UAE Chapter, the Society for Human Resource Management, and TÜV SÜD bring sectoral depth. The agreement list also extends to emerging innovation spaces, including Singularity University, Asuria, Efekta Education, Altruistic AI, SaveFast Training Academy, Gosu Academy and Polynome.
Khalid Alhammadi, Chief Executive of IN^X Education, characterised the initiative as fundamental to bridging education with economic reality. “Through these partnerships, we seek to bring together the expertise of academic institutions, business sectors, professional organisations, and specialised partners, and leverage it to develop educational and training programmes and solutions that keep pace with evolving skills and job requirements,” he explained. The collaboration, he suggested, creates space for knowledge exchange that extends institutional capacity for innovation whilst anchoring educational development in genuine labour market demand.
The strategic direction reflects a broader institutional commitment to alignment between education systems and economic trajectory. As we reported previously, the Ministry of Higher Education has partnered with SAP to equip academics with artificial intelligence expertise, a parallel initiative underscoring the national emphasis on technological capability across institutional networks. Similarly, Abu Dhabi recently convened an inaugural summit on agentic AI and digital sovereignty, positioning technology advancement as central to institutional and economic resilience.
What it means for Abu Dhabi
The expansion of IN^X Education’s partnership network represents an investment in institutional infrastructure designed to serve the emirate’s human capital development. By connecting academic provision with the expertise of global technology companies and professional organisations, Abu Dhabi strengthens its capacity to cultivate workforces aligned with evolving sectoral requirements and emerging industries. This alignment between education and labour market demand has become instrumental to sustaining competitive advantage in knowledge-based economies.
The initiative also reinforces Abu Dhabi’s position as a nexus for educational innovation and international collaboration. The breadth of institutional partnerships, spanning academic institutions, technology providers and professional bodies, signals the emirate’s commitment to building integrated ecosystems in which educational development, technological advancement and professional standards inform one another. This systemic approach to skills development supports the broader national ambition to cultivate talent capable of driving innovation across sectors central to the UAE’s future prosperity.
