RAK Ceramics sustains momentum with robust Q3 earnings amid regional demand

The ceramics manufacturer delivered double-digit profit growth in the third quarter, capitalising on strong market opportunities across the UAE, Middle East and India whilst navigating supply chain complexities.

RAK Ceramics has reported a quarter of resilient performance, with net profit after tax climbing to AED 78.0 million in the three months to 30 September 2026, a gain of 15.5 per cent year on year. The third quarter results reflect the manufacturer’s disciplined approach to capturing market share across its established regional footprint whilst maintaining operational continuity through a period of broader uncertainty.

Total revenue for the quarter reached AED 861.5 million, representing growth of 4.4 per cent from the corresponding period in 2025. The company’s gross profit margin held steady at 40.3 per cent, consistent with the prior year quarter, whilst profit before tax expanded by 13.4 per cent to AED 98.3 million. Over the nine months to 30 September, revenue stood at AED 2,445.1 million, with net profit after tax of AED 184.5 million, up 1.0 per cent year on year.

The ceramics group’s manufacturing and distribution infrastructure across the region proved instrumental in sustaining both product availability and customer engagement throughout the quarter. Operational efficiency gains and targeted market expansion efforts reinforced its competitive standing, allowing the company to translate market opportunities into measured profit growth. EBITDA for the quarter increased 4.7 per cent to AED 175.7 million.

Net debt as at the quarter’s end stood at AED 1.59 billion, with the net debt to EBITDA ratio at 2.56x. These results demonstrate how established regional enterprises continue to sustain profitability amid headwinds affecting broader operations across the Middle East.

What it means for Abu Dhabi

RAK Ceramics’ performance underscores the resilience of the Emirates’ industrial sector, particularly within manufacturing segments that serve both domestic and regional markets. The company’s ability to maintain gross margins and grow profit in a testing environment speaks to the competitive advantages held by businesses with diversified geographic exposure and integrated supply chains across the Gulf.

The results also reflect sustained demand from construction and related sectors across the region, signalling continuing confidence in infrastructure and development activity. As major regional entities report stable financial performance, the trajectory suggests that key economic drivers remain in place, supporting both employment and broader commercial activity across the Emirates’ industrial base.
