The emirate's chamber of commerce has concluded a significant presence at one of the world's leading travel industry gatherings, presenting Ajman's compelling case to international investors and tourism operators seeking fresh opportunities.
The grandeur of ExCeL London played host this November to a carefully curated showcase of Ajman’s economic potential. Over three days, the emirate’s chamber of commerce presented its portfolio of tourism assets and investment opportunities to an international audience of travel industry professionals, hospitality leaders and potential strategic partners.
The participation, mounted as part of the Ajman Pavilion in cooperation with the Department of Tourism, Culture and Media, reflected a deliberate strategy to strengthen the emirate’s connections across international markets. Fatima Yaqoob Al Awadhi, Head of the Investment Attraction Section at Ajman Chamber, described the engagement as integral to the chamber’s broader mission to expand the emirate’s economic reach and align promotional efforts with the objectives of the Ajman Investment Attraction Working Group, which supports Ajman Vision 2030.
Beyond the formal presentation of Ajman’s business environment, the chamber orchestrated a series of bilateral meetings with company representatives, institutional leaders and investors. These conversations centred on the emirate’s competitive advantages: its ease of doing business, its welcoming regulatory framework, and the breadth of opportunity within tourism, hospitality, restaurant operations and related service sectors. The dialogue opened pathways for exploring mutual cooperation and identifying shared commercial interests.
This effort to deepen international partnerships reflects Ajman Chamber’s ongoing commitment to positioning the emirate as a destination for meaningful economic collaboration. Recent engagements with international business leaders have shown the chamber’s capacity to identify and nurture high potential partnerships, whilst investments in digital infrastructure have strengthened its ability to connect with investors globally and streamline the business engagement process.
What it means for Abu Dhabi
Ajman’s visible presence at global travel industry forums reinforces the wider narrative of the Emirates as a coordinated destination offering diverse economic and tourism experiences. The emirate’s active promotion of tourism, hospitality and service sector opportunities complements Abu Dhabi’s own position as an international investment and tourism centre, with each emirate developing distinctive strengths within the federation’s broader economic ecosystem.
The participation demonstrates the value of unified promotional strategies across the emirates. International investors and tourism operators benefit from access to a range of opportunities across the UAE, whilst the collective strength of emirate level chambers of commerce enhances the federation’s appeal as a whole. Ajman’s efforts to attract strategic partnerships and investment support the diversified, interconnected economy that benefits all emirates and their residents.
