Abu Dhabi‑founded Nirvana Holding says UAE tourism is evolving with tech and tailored experiences

Nirvana Holding outlines tech-driven shift in visitor services

Nirvana Holding told the Emirates News Agency (WAM) at Arabian Travel Market 2026 that the UAE’s tourism sector is undergoing a rapid transformation, driven by changing traveller preferences and the growing use of technology and artificial intelligence. The company emphasised that data analysis and algorithmic decision‑making are increasingly used to speed up planning and improve service efficiency for visitors.

The firm, founded in Abu Dhabi in 2007, has expanded its footprint across the UAE to roughly 40 branches and now operates offices in Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom and the United States. Nirvana Holding has signalled further international expansion, naming Spain, Greece and Germany among planned markets.

Chief executive Omar Al Ali said tourism programmes and experiences must be tailored to particular destinations, seasons and markets. Such customisation, the company argues, helps the UAE’s varied offer — spanning leisure, sports, medical, dining and hospitality tourism — to match demand from a wide range of international visitors.

The firm’s origins in Abu Dhabi underline the emirate’s role as a source of private‑sector expertise within the national tourism ecosystem. By blending technology with bespoke product design, companies founded in the capital are helping to shape how the UAE markets itself to travellers who expect more personalised, data‑informed experiences.

At ATM 2026, the emphasis on artificial intelligence reflected broader industry trends. Operators and destination managers are increasingly turning to analytics to optimise itineraries, match services to consumer segments and enhance operational responsiveness. Nirvana Holding framed these tools as means to accelerate decision‑making and to raise standards of service delivery.

While the company’s international expansion points to continued outward growth, its discussion at a major regional trade event also speaks to the UAE’s ambition to capture a larger share of the global tourism market. The combination of diverse tourism product categories and investments in technology positions the country to respond to evolving traveller behaviours and seasonal demand patterns.

As UAE tourism adapts, firms with roots in Abu Dhabi are likely to be prominent participants in both domestic development and overseas promotion of Emirati travel offerings, particularly where tailored programmes and tech‑enabled services can deliver competitive advantage.
