Al Ain Future Business Forum to drive economic growth and diversification, ADDED says

The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development will host the inaugural Al Ain Future Business Forum at ADNEC Centre Al Ain on 23–24 September 2026, convening public and private sector leaders to advance investment, talent and technology in the region.

Forum set to showcase Al Ain’s economic transformation

The inaugural Al Ain Future Business Forum, organised by the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), will take place at ADNEC Centre Al Ain on 23–24 September 2026 under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region. The two‑day event brings together senior officials, business leaders, researchers and international experts to shape the next phase of the region’s economic development.

Focus on talent, innovation and strategic sectors

Programme themes include talent development, advanced manufacturing, agrifood innovation, smart transportation, renewable energy and sustainable tourism. Sessions will examine investment opportunities, the future of mobility, entrepreneurship, and the requirements of emerging industries, with an emphasis on translating research and technology into commercial projects that reinforce Al Ain’s role within Abu Dhabi’s integrated economy.

Al Ain’s role as a logistics and innovation hub

Speakers and panellists will highlight strategic projects that position Al Ain as a logistic gateway and a centre for research and sustainable development. The forum will explore how the region’s competitive advantages can be harnessed to attract capital, nurture talent and support private‑sector growth across the emirate.

Public‑private partners to support delivery

Key government and private entities are backing the forum. Strategic gateway partners include Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and Modon Properties. Economic pillar partners named by ADDED include Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA), Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD Group), Abu Dhabi Airports and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO). Hub71 and Talabat join as investment and enterprise partners, while the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) is the destination partner and the Department of Community Development the community partner; Amazon is listed as a supporting partner.

Collaboration to translate strengths into sustainable value

The forum is presented under the theme Invest, Develop, Thrive and is organised in collaboration with the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), DCT Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), ADIO and the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development. ADDED says the event forms part of broader efforts to convert regional strengths into sustainable economic value and to foster an enabling environment for businesses, investors and talent.
