Registration has opened for Global Food Week 2026, which will be held at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from 6 to 8 October. Organised by ADNEC Group, a Modon company, in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA), the event combines an extensive exhibition, thought leadership through the second Global Food Security Summit (GFSS) and a strengthened business-to-business platform.
This edition introduces Shop at the Show, a dedicated business-to-consumer facility that allows attendees to purchase products directly from exhibitors. The addition gives brands the opportunity to engage consumers on-site while maintaining the exhibition’s established B2B focus.
Exhibitors will present a mix of international pavilions, food innovations and traditional produce aimed at buyers, policymakers and industry stakeholders. The organisers highlight the event as an entry point to one of the region’s fastest-growing food and beverage markets, offering access to decision-makers and potential partners across the UAE.
The GFSS, now in its second year, is positioned as a platform for policymakers, researchers, industry leaders and innovators to collaborate on strengthening global food systems and building resilience. Sessions will focus on sustainable practices, supply-chain robustness and technological solutions that can be scaled to address food security challenges.
For Abu Dhabi, Global Food Week reinforces the emirate’s ambition to be a hub for food security solutions. By convening international actors alongside local authorities such as ADAFSA, the event seeks to accelerate the development and deployment of innovations that respond to both regional and global needs.
Organisers say the week-long programme is designed to facilitate networking and deal-making, supporting companies that are seeking market entry into the UAE as well as established operators looking to expand. The combined exhibition, summit and B2C component aim to serve a broad audience, from trade buyers and investors to consumers and civil-society actors interested in sustainable food systems.
Visitors and delegates can register ahead of the event to attend the exhibition and the Global Food Security Summit. The show’s organisers emphasise the importance of cross-sector collaboration in tackling food security and promoting innovation across the food value chain.
