More than 800 specialists have convened in Abu Dhabi for the Second Trust Fertility and Gynecology Conference, focused on evidence-based, patient-centred reproductive care and fertility preservation.

The second Trust Fertility and Gynecology Conference 2026 has opened in Abu Dhabi, bringing together in excess of 800 specialists and experts in fertility, reproductive health, obstetrics and gynaecology, embryology and allied fields. The event is organised by Trust Fertility Clinic at Burjeel Medical City, part of Burjeel Holdings, and is being held with the support and participation of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH).
The conference, held under the theme “Trust in Evidence, Excellence in Practice”, opened in the presence of H.H. Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions, and Omniyat Al Hajeri, Executive Director of the Community Health Sector at Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre.
Organisers say the meeting features 85 speakers representing 22 countries, including specialists from the United Kingdom, United States, France, Italy and Greece as well as Emirati and UAE-based clinicians and researchers. The scientific programme comprises 28 sessions and workshops that address the full spectrum of contemporary fertility care.
Session topics span reproductive endocrinology, fertility preservation, endometriosis-related infertility, male infertility and embryology, as well as fertility-enhancing surgery. Practical workshops examine laparoscopy and hysteroscopy techniques, and there are hands-on sessions on medications used in in‑vitro fertilisation (IVF) and other assisted reproductive treatments.
H.H. Sheikha Dr. Shamma emphasised the role of specialised scientific gatherings in shaping an integrated vision for family health, noting that reproductive health requires approaches that begin with awareness and prevention and extend through diagnosis, treatment and ongoing support. She underlined Abu Dhabi’s commitment to fostering environments that combine knowledge, innovation and compassionate care, and described investment in family health as long-term support for social stability and future generations.
Walid Reda Sayed, Group Medical Director of Trust Fertility Clinic and Conference Director, said the programme is organised around the patient journey, from initial diagnosis and fertility preservation through to treatment options and surgical interventions. He added that the conference aims to advance more precise, evidence-based and personalised approaches to fertility care.
Ethics in reproductive medicine is a recurring theme across lectures and panels, reflecting the field’s rapid technological advances and the need for considered policy and clinical frameworks. Delegates will also discuss developments in minimally invasive surgery and assisted reproductive technologies and share best practice to improve outcomes for couples and individuals seeking fertility support.
