Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Inaugurates Inaugural Al Ain Future Business Forum

The Ruler's Representative in Al Ain Region opens a landmark economic gathering designed to catalyse investment, diversification and partnership across the emirate's expanding business landscape.

His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, has inaugurated the inaugural Al Ain Future Business Forum, a pivotal economic convocation organised by the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development. Held at ADNEC Centre Al Ain on 23–24 September 2026, the forum assembled under the overarching theme of Invest, Develop, Thrive, bringing together a diverse constituency of stakeholders united in purpose.

The gathering drew more than 4,800 policymakers, senior business executives, investors and entrepreneurs from across the globe, alongside more than 70 speakers representing a spectrum of expertise and vision. The forum addressed critical dimensions of contemporary economic opportunity: investment prospects, talent development, advanced manufacturing, agricultural technology, smart mobility, renewable energy and sustainable tourism.

Strategic Platform for Economic Collaboration

His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged directly with government officials, decision-makers, business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs and representatives from Emirati and international institutions and companies, examining the latest investment opportunities aimed at advancing economic diversification across Al Ain Region. These discussions examined policies, infrastructure development, capital access and talent cultivation—the foundational elements upon which sustained economic expansion rests.

In his remarks, His Highness emphasised that the forum provides an essential platform where public and private sectors converge with investors, entrepreneurs and innovators to exchange expertise, explore collaboration opportunities and forge high-impact partnerships. He stressed the importance of capitalising upon Al Ain’s competitive advantages and latent potential to attract quality investments and unlock new horizons for economic growth and sectoral diversification.

Alignment with National Vision

His Highness anchored the forum’s significance within the broader strategic vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to construct a knowledge-based and innovation-driven economy—a framework guiding Abu Dhabi’s trajectory towards sustainable prosperity and global competitiveness.

Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, characterised the forum as a manifestation of the leadership’s unwavering commitment to strengthening the emirate’s economic ecosystem and cementing its position as a destination for world-class talent, expanding enterprises and quality capital. He observed that by convening government entities, startups, small and medium enterprises, business and investment leaders, and talent development institutions, the forum provides an instrumental platform for constructing partnerships that will propel future economic growth.

Mr Al Zaabi noted that the forum demonstrates Abu Dhabi’s dedication to balanced development, sustainability and diversification as essential pillars of enduring economic advancement—principles that distinguish the emirate’s approach to prosperity and shared opportunity.
