Simply Abu Dhabi XI

Feeling refreshed and contented, Arnie disappeared off to the business centre, leaving me free to visit the Sense spa, the reputation of which I had heard much about. True to what I had heard, the fragrant environment of the spa was perfect for relaxing in style. The interior décor is fantastic, clearly selected by a team with great aesthetic sensibilities. I decided to experience a cleansing treatment in the hammam and just loved the iridescent bronze mosaic tiles, matched with white crystalline stone and embellished with driftwood sculptures and fine drapery. Leaving the tranquil haven of Sense I headed back to the lobby to meet Arnie so we could enjoy a guided tour of the rooms available at the Rosewood. From the deluxe and executive offerings, through to the premier versions and the Rosewood and Royal suites, the space, style and sophistication of every room is first class. We also saw the residences at Rosewood for travellers on extended visits to the region. These carry through the same attention to detail and offer an intimate sense of warmth – a real home away from home combined with all the exclusive privileges of the hotel. The residences would also be ideal for families travelling with children as the Rosewood has a special service for little ones. The Rose Buds programme has been carefully designed with special services, amenities and treats for kids, including everything from menus to special events and fun activities. Education takes a commendable role in Rose Buds, with a focus on environmental and creative appreciation. Children can enjoy the arts and crafts centre, games rooms and a lovely reading space. Led by experienced, fun-loving and caring staff, the children can learn about the 3 2 S I M P LY A B U DH A B I
