This highly desirable box is designed as a control panel with the essential instruments laid out in T shape for optimum legibility. There will be a limited edition run of 100 and for those lucky owners, they will feel as though they own a fragment of an aircraft’s cockpit. The BR01 watches will also be in limited editions of 999 pieces per model. The Airspeed is particularly striking in the collection. In a move to enhance legibility, the hour, minute and second graduations have been separated to emphasise the minutes on the main dial, while the hours are displayed in the centre. The bold use of the three colours –green, white and yellow – indicate the levels of criticality taken from the original aircraft instrument. The hands and index marks are covered in a white photo luminescent coating, which contrasts powerfully with the pitch-black dial and echoes the legibility principles of professional aeronautical instruments. The anti-glare, matt black carbon finish of the case is inspired by the colour of an instrumentation panel, designed to make the dials easier to read by eliminating glare. For aviation fans, this watch is a sure high-flyer.
