We can’t think of a better way to start off a day of luxury shopping at The Galleria. Fromnoon, the all-day menu features authentic lighter dishes – French onion soup, smoked salmon quiche, and steak sandwich, to name a few – alongside heartier fare such as Moroccan-spiced grilled spatchcock with saffron potatoes. Comfort-food favourites are reimagined – classic burgers and stews are joined by options such as a chicken sausage and duck confit hot dog, creating a more refined yet approachable gourmet menu. Naturally, dessert must follow: try to resist being tempted by a traditional tarte tatin, fruit fritters with chocolate fondue, or white chocolate and passion fruit mousse cake – we don’t think it’s possible. Blackboards list the daily specials, complementing the all-day menu and giving the chefs the opportunity to apply their invention and creativity to the freshest seasonal ingredients.
