Erth Zayed Philanthropies Opens Abu Dhabi Headquarters Under Royal Patronage

His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has inaugurated the new headquarters of Erth Zayed Philanthropies, marking a pivotal expansion of the network's institutional capacity to advance humanitarian and development work across more than 100 countries.

His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Erth Zayed Philanthropies, has inaugurated the new headquarters of Erth Zayed Philanthropies in Abu Dhabi.

During the ceremonial opening, His Highness and members of the Board of Trustees toured the facility, receiving detailed briefings on its operational infrastructure, workspaces, and the sophisticated systems and tools that underpin the foundation’s extensive global work.

Milestone in Institutional Development

His Excellency Dr Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Secretary-General of Erth Zayed Philanthropies, observed that the inauguration represented a defining moment for the organisation. “This inauguration marks an important milestone in the journey of Erth Zayed Philanthropies and in building the institutional foundations for our next chapter. From here, we will continue to work with our affiliates and partners to strengthen collaboration, bring together expertise and resources, and advance philanthropic efforts that respond to the needs of communities around the world,” he stated.

Network of Global Impact

Erth Zayed Philanthropies encompasses a coordinated network of 14 affiliated philanthropic organisations united by a shared mission to perpetuate the humanitarian legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father of the UAE. Operating across health, education, agriculture and food security, economic empowerment, environmental conservation, and cultural engagement, the network harnesses collective strengths to develop sustainable solutions with lasting systemic impact.

The organisation’s reach extends across more than 100 countries, drawing upon accumulated expertise developed over decades of philanthropic, humanitarian, and development endeavour. A portfolio of 269 programs and initiatives leverages the distinct capabilities and partnerships of its affiliated entities to maximise effectiveness and create measurable outcomes.

Scope and Scale of Achievement

The network’s accomplishments to date reflect its substantial operational scale. The organisation has collectively reached more than 130 million people, protected 1,789 species, and manages AED6.4 billion in endowments, positioning it among the world’s most consequential philanthropic networks.
