NMDC Group reports AED21.4 billion revenue as integrated operations deliver sustained growth

The diversified energy and marine services provider has strengthened its market position through the first nine months of 2026, underpinned by operational resilience and a robust project pipeline across the MENA region.

The financial results speak to a company operating with considerable confidence. NMDC Group, whose integrated portfolio spans marine services, energy, construction, logistics and engineering, has reported revenues of AED21.4 billion for the nine-month period ended 30th September 2026, representing four percent growth year-on-year. The Group recorded a net profit of AED2.4 billion across the same timeframe, reflecting disciplined management and strong operational margins.

The composition of revenue underscores the Group’s established position within the UAE, with domestic operations contributing 78 percent of total revenues, while international markets accounted for the remaining 22 percent. This diversification provides stability whilst opening pathways to expansion across the wider MENA region and beyond.

Underpinning the Group’s trajectory is a project backlog standing at AED54.1 billion, reinforced by AED9.7 billion in project awards secured during the nine-month period. This substantial pipeline offers visibility across multiple years and multiple geographies, enabling the Group to sustain its operational momentum. The breadth of this commitment reflects confidence among clients in NMDC Group’s technical capabilities and delivery record.

The Group’s financial position remains robust. With a net cash position of AED3.9 billion as of 30th September 2026, NMDC Group possesses considerable flexibility to fund capital expenditure, develop strategic assets, and pursue growth opportunities. This foundation is particularly significant as the Group continues to modernise its fleet and enhance its technical capabilities; as we reported earlier, the Group inaugurated Abu Al Bakhoush, a sophisticated dredging vessel, marking a strategic milestone in fleet advancement.

Mohamed Thani Murshed Ghannam Al Rumaithi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of NMDC Group, attributed the Group’s performance to the economic vision of the UAE’s leadership and the opportunity this creates for national enterprises to compete globally. Dr. Yasser Zaghloul, Group Chief Executive Officer, emphasised the resilience the organisation has cultivated over many years, noting that teams have continued to deliver complex projects safely across diverse markets whilst building capabilities that generate value for clients and stakeholders.

The nine-month results also reflect ongoing integration within the Group ecosystem. NMDC Emdad’s transition following acquisition by NMDC Group represents one such evolution, enabling enhanced technical capabilities and integrated services. Meanwhile, NMDC Energy has sustained momentum with nine percent revenue growth through September, contributing substantially to the Group’s overall performance.
