22nd International Education Show Opens at Expo Centre Sharjah

A prestigious gathering of educational institutions from more than 20 study destinations worldwide convenes this weekend, offering students and parents an exceptional opportunity to explore university programmes and academic pathways.

The 22nd International Education Show opens this Sunday at Expo Centre Sharjah, presenting an extraordinary occasion for students and parents to engage with leading academic institutions from across the globe. Running until 13th October, the exhibition encompasses educational and academic institutions representing more than 20 study destinations, each bringing distinctive programmes and opportunities for advancement.

Organised by Expo Centre Sharjah in collaboration with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Sharjah Private Education Authority, the event operates in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Sharjah Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research. This distinguished framework underscores the exhibition’s significance within the emirate’s educational landscape and its commitment to fostering academic excellence.

The exhibition serves as a vital conduit between prospective students and academic institutions, facilitating meaningful dialogue on university programmes, academic disciplines and higher education pathways tailored to individual interests and aspirations. Visitors will encounter representatives of participating institutions who are prepared to discuss admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, specialisations and further study options in comprehensive detail.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, Chief Executive Officer of Expo Centre Sharjah, emphasised the exhibition’s enduring role in connecting students with academic institutions and enabling informed decisions about their educational futures. He noted that the platform facilitates communication and knowledge exchange amongst institutions, students and parents, whilst providing comprehensive information on academic programmes and admission criteria.

For participating institutions, the exhibition presents a valuable opportunity to showcase their distinctive programmes, engage directly with potential students and families, and respond to enquiries about available study options. The event introduces visitors to diverse educational systems and cultures, enriching their understanding of global academic perspectives.

Students attending will benefit from the opportunity to meet institution representatives, discuss their aspirations and identify programmes that align with their intellectual interests, abilities and professional ambitions. The exhibition ultimately aims to support students in planning their university education and exploring opportunities for sustained academic and professional development.
