The Abu Dhabi-based research institution will present its sixth consecutive exhibition at the world's largest book fair, featuring works spanning political strategy, artificial intelligence, sustainability and advanced technologies.

TRENDS Research & Advisory, a prominent division of TRENDS Group, will return to the Frankfurt Book Fair for its sixth consecutive year, presenting more than 550 research publications at the prestigious event’s 78th edition. The exhibition runs from 7th to 11th October at Messe Frankfurt in Germany, providing a significant platform for the institution’s continued engagement with the international knowledge community.

Operating through its virtual office in Germany, TRENDS’ participation aims to reinforce research collaborations and establish international strategic partnerships whilst enhancing its global intellectual presence. The organisation remains committed to advancing its core mission of promoting rigorous research and anticipating future developments through knowledge-driven initiatives.

The comprehensive collection encompasses publications addressing political, strategic, economic, social and cultural dimensions, alongside specialised studies in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, advanced technologies, environmental science and sustainability. Beyond traditional exhibitions, TRENDS will organise a series of research events and focused discussions throughout the fair.

The TRENDS pavilion will host substantive discussions examining contemporary challenges within the publishing sector, the evolving role of artificial intelligence in literary creation, and intellectual property protection.

Rawdha Al-Marzooqi, Head of the Distribution and Exhibitions Sector at TRENDS Group, highlighted the enhanced diversity of this year’s collection, which encompasses original and translated works, academic series, future studies publications, and policy and strategic papers. She noted that TRENDS’ annual presence at the fair provides valuable opportunities to engage with the international publishing community and examine emerging trends in publishing, printing, translation and distribution methodologies.

The exhibition offers visitors opportunities to explore the complete range of publications, participate in substantive discussions with leading experts and researchers, and discover innovative approaches to knowledge production and dissemination. Zayed Al-Dhaheri, Director of the Distribution Department, and Hazza Al-Hammadi, Director of the Exhibitions Department, both emphasised the importance of forging new professional connections, facilitating expertise exchange and promoting innovation across research and academic sectors.
