UAE President and Jordanian Monarch Discuss Deepening Partnership and Regional Stability

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan have engaged in substantive discussions regarding their nations’ bilateral relationship and broader regional considerations.
The telephone conversation between the two leaders encompassed a comprehensive review of economic and developmental cooperation frameworks, with particular emphasis on leveraging existing agreements to advance mutual prosperity. The Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the UAE and Jordan continues to serve as a cornerstone for collaborative endeavours across diverse sectors benefiting both nations.
A significant focus of their dialogue centred on the Aqaba–Al-Shidiyeh–Maan Railway Project, representing a transformative infrastructure initiative developed through the Jordan-UAE Railway Company.
