Sharjah Media City partners with 3S Money to enhance cross-border financial services

Sharjah Media City has established a strategic partnership with global payment solutions provider 3S Money, offering eligible companies multi-currency accounts and international payment capabilities to support their global operations.
Sharjah Media City (Shams) has forged a strategic partnership with 3S Money, a globally recognised platform specialising in cross-border payment solutions. The collaboration aims to equip eligible members of the Shams community with comprehensive financial services tailored to the needs of international commerce.
The partnership delivers a suite of offerings including multi-currency business accounts, international payment capabilities, and foreign exchange services. These solutions address the increasingly sophisticated financial requirements of companies operating across local and international markets, particularly those in the media, creative industries, and digital sectors.
Through this arrangement, Shams members gain access to streamlined mechanisms for sending and receiving international payments, managing multiple currencies, and facilitating cross-border business operations. The services encompass provision of local account details and access to international payment networks, subject to applicable eligibility requirements and terms.
Rashid Sahoo, Director of Operations at Sharjah Media City, emphasised the strategic significance of the partnership. “At Shams, we are continuously working to expand the range of solutions and services available to our business community, particularly those that address the practical needs of companies operating in international markets. Our partnership with 3S Money provides eligible SHAMS members with access to multi-currency and cross-border payment solutions, supporting their international transactions and facilitating a smoother, more seamless business experience.”
The partnership reinforces Shams’ broader vision of developing an integrated business ecosystem that extends beyond traditional licensing and infrastructure services. By collaborating with specialised financial service providers, the media city enables entrepreneurs and companies to access innovative solutions throughout every stage of their business growth trajectory.
Ivan Kaldelis, Global Executive Vice President at 3S Money, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration. “We are delighted to collaborate with SHAMS and support its growing community of entrepreneurs and companies. Businesses operating internationally require flexible financial solutions capable of keeping pace with the nature of their cross-border activities.”
This agreement represents a meaningful step in Shams’ ongoing strategy to establish partnerships with leading service providers and institutions. The initiative empowers its diverse community—comprising entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises, and creative sector businesses—to access specialised solutions that enhance operational efficiency, support business development, and facilitate expansion into international markets.
