Fujairah Free Zone welcomes EU ambassadors to forge enhanced economic partnerships

Senior European Union representatives have visited the Fujairah Free Zone Authority to explore avenues for strengthened commercial cooperation and investment collaboration.
The Fujairah Free Zone Authority has received a distinguished delegation of European Union ambassadors, marking a significant occasion for dialogue on deepening economic cooperation between the emirate and the European business community.
During the meeting held on Tuesday, both parties examined opportunities to enhance engagement and explore fresh partnership avenues that align with mutual commercial interests and foster economic development. The discussions centred on Fujairah’s compelling investment proposition, including its competitive advantages and the conducive business environment that the Free Zone extends to investors operating across diverse sectors.
Particular attention was given to strategies for expanding collaboration with European enterprises and capital providers, with emphasis on identifying novel opportunities that might stimulate bilateral trade flows and investment activity whilst establishing sustainable, long-term economic partnerships between the regions.
Sharief Habib Al Awadhi, Director-General of the Fujairah Free Zone Authority, reflected on the significance of the engagement, stating: “At Fujairah Free Zone, we are committed to expanding our network of international partnerships and opening new opportunities for investors in ways that enhance investment opportunities and support the growth of businesses and joint investments.”
As the visit concluded, both delegations reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining productive dialogue and coordination, pledging to pursue further collaborative initiatives designed to advance economic cooperation and serve the shared interests of all parties involved.
