UAE Reaffirms Solidarity with Saudi Arabia Following Houthi Attacks

The United Arab Emirates has issued a strong condemnation of ongoing Houthi targeting of Saudi civilian infrastructure and maritime vessels, pledging unwavering support for the kingdom's security.

The United Arab Emirates has issued a forthright condemnation of the Houthi group’s continued targeting of civilian infrastructure and economic facilities throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as Saudi vessels operating in the southern Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

In a statement released through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the UAE characterised these actions as a flagrant violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and a substantive threat to the kingdom’s security and stability. The ministry emphasised that such conduct runs counter to international norms and the principles governing peaceful coexistence between nations.

Reaffirming its longstanding commitment to the kingdom, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs underscored the UAE’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its steadfast support for all measures designed to protect and preserve Saudi security and stability. The statement reflects the deep bonds of partnership between the two Gulf neighbours and their shared commitment to regional peace and prosperity.
