Ajman Chamber strengthens economic ties with Belgian business partners

A delegation from Ajman Chamber has participated in a comprehensive trade mission to Belgium, exploring fresh opportunities for investment and commercial cooperation between the emirate and the Kingdom.
The Ajman Chamber has taken part in an official UAE trade mission to the Kingdom of Belgium, aimed at cultivating robust economic partnerships and expanding bilateral trade and investment relationships between the two nations’ business communities.
Organised by the Federation of UAE Chambers in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UAE Embassy in Brussels, the mission took place from 5th to 6th October. Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salmeen Al Ariani, Board Member of the Ajman Chamber, led the Chamber’s participation within a delegation comprising government officials and representatives from the private sector.
The initiative encompassed participation in a dedicated UAE-Belgium economic forum, alongside bilateral meetings with members of the Belgian business community designed to identify and explore potential cooperation and partnership opportunities. Delegations also undertook field visits to study and learn from successful economic models and international best practices.
Mr Al Ariani commented on the significance of the mission, noting that participation supports the diversification of Ajman’s economic and investment partnerships whilst establishing fresh channels of communication with Belgian counterparts. “This engagement enhances opportunities for meaningful cooperation and trade exchange between our business communities,” he observed.
The Board Member underscored the Ajman Chamber’s commitment to participating in official UAE missions that promote investment prospects within the emirate and strengthen Ajman’s standing on the international business landscape. During the trade mission, the Chamber conducted several productive bilateral meetings with Belgian business representatives, during which discussions centred on fostering cooperation, arranging reciprocal visits and organising joint events and forums to bring together officials and business leaders from both regions.
These meetings served to highlight the breadth of trade and investment opportunities available whilst exploring promising new partnerships between Ajman and Belgium, positioning both economies to benefit from enhanced commercial engagement.
