UAE AI Office and Samsung Launch 2026 Innovation Campus for Emirati Talent

Registration opens for UAE nationals to pursue advanced training in artificial intelligence, with a new focus on generative AI skills development
The Artificial Intelligence Office in the UAE Government, working alongside Samsung Gulf Electronics, has opened registration for the Samsung Innovation Campus 2026 programme. This initiative is designed to equip young Emirati talent with the technical and practical expertise required to develop cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions and drive economic competitiveness through technological innovation.
The 2026 edition represents a significant evolution, introducing a dedicated training track in generative artificial intelligence—one of the most dynamic and rapidly advancing fields within AI technology. Participants will progress through a comprehensive learning pathway spanning foundational concepts through to sophisticated applications, encompassing Python programming and its libraries, probability and statistics, machine learning, and deep learning methodologies.
Dr. Abdelrahman Al Mahmoud, Director at the Artificial Intelligence Office, emphasised that nurturing national talent represents a cornerstone of the UAE’s artificial intelligence strategy. He highlighted that equipping young people with sophisticated knowledge and hands-on experience strengthens their capacity to lead technological transformation and develop solutions addressing key development priorities whilst contributing to the economy of the future.
Jerome Hong, President of Samsung Gulf Electronics, underscored Samsung’s commitment to pairing technological advancement with appropriate skills development. He noted that the 2026 programme strengthens Samsung’s dedication to UAE nationals through the integration of generative artificial intelligence, reflecting competencies that will grow increasingly essential as the technology evolves.
The programme combines expert-led training sessions, self-directed learning, practical applications, and projects grounded in real-world challenges, ensuring participants acquire hands-on technical experience whilst expanding the UAE’s specialised artificial intelligence talent pool.
Registration remains open to UAE nationals aged 18 to 29 through 16 October 2026 via samsung.com/ae/innovation-campus/. Applicants must demonstrate foundational knowledge in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, including statistics and programming languages such as Java, JavaScript and C++, alongside prior programming experience. Successful candidates will progress through an admission assessment to confirm programme eligibility.
Since launching in the UAE in 2022, Samsung Innovation Campus has graduated more than 400 students across previous editions, building a flourishing community of emerging technology professionals. The 2026 cohort represents a new phase, exclusively targeting UAE nationals whilst introducing an enriched curriculum addressing generative artificial intelligence alongside established domains in Python, probability and statistics, machine learning and deep learning.
