Investopia Bridge 2026 Convenes Global Leaders for New Economy Dialogue

Abu Dhabi hosted the influential economic forum, bringing together over 800 participants and 30 international speakers to explore investment opportunities in emerging sectors and strengthen global economic partnerships.
Investopia Bridge 2026 assembled a distinguished gathering of international business leaders, policymakers and investors in Abu Dhabi under the overarching theme of ‘Investing in a More Resilient World.’ The event examined the evolving global investment landscape and emerging opportunities within new and sustainable economy sectors, responding to ongoing regional and international economic transformations.
The forum attracted more than 800 participants alongside 30 speakers of considerable standing, including government ministers, decision-makers, investors, business leaders and economists from across the UAE and beyond. The programme structure reflected a comprehensive approach to contemporary economic challenges, beginning with government and policymaker-led discussions on global economic transformation, growth prospects, and the importance of confidence-building policy frameworks in strengthening economies’ capacity to adapt and attract capital.
Subsequent sessions engaged private sector and corporate leaders in exploring business responses to market shifts, opportunities emerging from new growth corridors, and the expanding global influence of leading UAE companies. Discussions encompassed transformations across tourism, innovation and technology sectors, whilst investor and capital manager dialogues addressed evolving investment rules, the changing role of sovereign wealth funds, emerging investment instruments, and capital flow patterns in an increasingly fragmented global environment.
Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism and Co-Chair of Investopia, emphasised the Emirates’ strategic positioning as a global business hub. He noted that the UAE has developed flexible and competitive policies, established an extensive network of Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreements, and created high-impact initiatives supporting new and sustainable economy sectors. The Minister highlighted how sustained investment in infrastructure, digital transformation and regulatory modernisation has strengthened national economic resilience and investment appeal.
Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, UAE Minister of Investment and Co-Chair of Investopia, underscored the significance of confidence and trusted partnerships in the contemporary investment environment. He noted that investors increasingly seek assurance regarding markets and partners, with resilience and sustained dialogue serving as foundations for lasting investment relationships.
Dame Susan Langley, The Lady Mayor of the City of London, emphasised the depth of UK-UAE economic partnership and highlighted London’s capabilities in risk management, stating: ‘By bringing together the UAE’s ambition and global investment reach with the UK’s capital, expertise and risk management capabilities, we can strengthen resilience, unlock investment and create new opportunities for long-term growth.’
The forum highlighted vital sectors including healthcare, advanced manufacturing, clean technologies, digital infrastructure, tourism and digital finance. Beyond formal sessions, Investopia Bridge hosted sectoral and international roundtables facilitating direct engagement between investors, policymakers and corporate leaders, enabling exploration of specific investment opportunities and development of practical partnerships. Investopia Bridge 2026 represents a key initiative within the Projects of the 50, the UAE Government’s comprehensive economic development programme launched in 2021.
