Air Arabia Charts Expanded Course to Jordan with Amman City Airport Route

The carrier strengthens regional connectivity with a new four-weekly service launching this November, offering passengers enhanced access to the Jordanian capital from Sharjah.
Air Arabia has announced the establishment of a new non-stop service connecting Sharjah International Airport with Amman City Airport, commencing on 15th November 2026. The route will operate four times weekly, representing a significant expansion of the airline’s presence within Jordan and reinforcing the established air bridge between the United Arab Emirates and the Hashemite Kingdom.
The addition of Amman City Airport represents Air Arabia’s second operational gateway into Jordan’s capital, complementing the carrier’s existing services to Queen Alia International Airport. This strategic development underscores the airline’s commitment to providing passengers with enhanced flexibility and choice when travelling between the two nations.
Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, expressed the significance of this expansion: “The launch of our new service to Amman City Airport marks an important addition to our operations in Jordan, giving our customers access to a second airport in the capital.”
The announcement reflects Air Arabia Group’s broader regional strategy, which encompasses a comprehensive network of Jordanian connections. The group currently operates non-stop flights from Zayed International Airport to both Amman City Airport and Queen Alia International Airport, whilst also maintaining services from Alexandria International Airport to Amman City Airport. This multi-layered approach demonstrates the airline’s dedication to facilitating seamless travel and commerce between the emirates and neighbouring nations.
The new Sharjah-Amman City route joins a growing roster of Air Arabia’s regional initiatives, positioning the carrier as a key facilitator of connectivity across the Middle East and beyond.
