UAE Expresses Resolute Condemnation of Attack on Saudi Arabian Airport

The Emirates has issued a forthright statement of solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia following a tragic incident at King Khalid International Airport, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to regional security and stability.

The United Arab Emirates has articulated its most forceful condemnation of an attack perpetrated by the Houthi group against King Khalid International Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The incident resulted in the loss of twelve lives belonging to nationals of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Palestine, Sudan, the United States, and Bangladesh, whilst hundreds of civilians sustained injuries.

In an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has characterised these attacks as a blatant transgression against the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a profound threat to its security and stability. The Ministry has underscored the UAE’s steadfast solidarity with Saudi Arabia, reaffirming the Emirates’ resolute support for all measures undertaken to preserve and strengthen the Kingdom’s security architecture and enduring stability.

The UAE has extended its heartfelt condolences and profound sympathy to the families of those who have perished, whilst simultaneously conveying sincere wishes for the expedited recovery and wellbeing of all those who have been injured in this regrettable occurrence.
