Abu Dhabi Celebrates the Champions of Reading

The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair has recognised and celebrated the exceptional achievements of schools that have distinguished themselves through their steadfast commitment to fostering a profound love of reading amongst their students and within their communities.

In a ceremony that paid tribute to the winning institutions, the fair honoured schools whose dedicated efforts have transformed reading from a mere academic exercise into an enriching daily habit and, most meaningfully, into a genuine way of life. These establishments have championed the cultivation of knowledge within both the classroom and the home, recognising that true literacy flourishes when it extends beyond school gates into the hearts and minds of families.

The recognition of these winning schools underscores a beautiful truth: that the most transformative educational institutions are those that understand reading not as a subject to be mastered, but as a gateway to worlds of imagination, wisdom and enlightenment. By encouraging their students and families to turn the page and read the world, these schools have become custodians of intellectual curiosity and champions of cultural enrichment.

The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, through such meaningful celebrations, continues to reinforce its vital role within the emirate’s cultural landscape. By honouring those who dedicate themselves to inspiring others through the written word, the fair affirms the enduring power of books to elevate minds, expand perspectives and nurture the luminous spirit of lifelong learning that defines a truly cultured society.
