An Evening of Extraordinary Artistry: Emirati Excellence Takes Centre Stage

A remarkable convergence of musical excellence and cultural pride has captured the imagination of Abu Dhabi’s discerning audiences. The eagerly anticipated recital featuring Elham Al Marzooqi, the UAE’s first professional female Emirati cellist, performing alongside acclaimed pianist Sooyeon Jun, has achieved sold out status, testament to the profound resonance of this extraordinary artistic endeavour.

We are invited to experience an exceptional evening that traverses the full spectrum of classical and beloved musical traditions. The programme weaves together timeless masterpieces by Bach and Brahms, those towering figures of Western classical composition, with the evocative and cinematic sensibilities of Morricone and the accessible brilliance of Gershwin. Such a carefully curated selection promises an immersive journey through musical history and emotion.

The performance takes place at Zayed National Museum, a venue of profound significance within Abu Dhabi’s cultural landscape, creating an inspired setting for this celebration of Emirati artistry. The overwhelming response from audiences speaks to the vibrant appetite within our community for exceptional cultural experiences that honour both our heritage and our creative aspirations.
