Memory, Music and the Art of Zine-Making at 421 Arts Campus

At the intersection of nostalgia and creative expression, 421 Arts Campus presents ‘Interventions on Memory and Musical Ephemera’, an immersive workshop that transforms the treasured artefacts of your personal history into a work of art. We are invited to join artist Nada Almosa for an afternoon of purposeful creation, where the music and photographs that have shaped our memories become the foundation for a bespoke eight-fold zine.
The workshop unfolds through an elegant synthesis of writing, visual composition and collage. You will bring your own analogue music ephemera—cassette tapes, CDs, vinyl sleeves or other musical keepsakes—along with cherished family photographs. Under the thoughtful guidance of the artist, these personal artefacts will be woven together with your own narrative reflections, culminating in a handcrafted publication that honours the intimate relationship between memory, sound and image.
This is an experience designed for the curious, regardless of prior artistic experience. The afternoon provides not only the space and materials for creation, but also nourishment: lunch will be provided for all participants. Furthermore, each guest will receive a 421 Artist Kit containing materials to extend your zine-making practice into your own home, allowing the creative momentum to continue long after the workshop concludes.
The session takes place on October 17, from 12 PM to 4 PM. Attendance is open to guests aged 18 and above, with all instruction conducted in English. To secure your place in this intimate gathering, booking is available via the link provided by 421 Arts Campus.
