UAE President extends invitation to Lebanese counterpart for Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2027

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has extended a gracious invitation to Joseph Aoun, President of the Republic of Lebanon, to attend the forthcoming Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week Summit, scheduled to take place on 12th and 13th January 2027.

The invitation, conveyed through a written message, encompasses participation in the opening ceremony of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and the honouring of the winners of the Zayed Sustainability Prize, an occasion that celebrates exceptional contributions to environmental stewardship and sustainable development on the global stage.

President Aoun received the formal invitation during a meeting with Fahad Salem Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Lebanon, reflecting the warmth of bilateral relations between the two nations and their shared commitment to addressing the pressing challenges of environmental sustainability.
