Algarabía: An Evening of Music, Dance and Poetry

We are invited to experience Algarabía, an enchanting evening that weaves together the luminous threads of music, dance and poetry into a resplendent tapestry of artistic expression. This remarkable cultural offering comes to Abu Dhabi on 26 November, presenting an opportunity to immerse oneself in an evening of profound creative artistry.

The production emerges from the collaborative vision of distinguished artists who have shaped its dramatic architecture and artistic sensibility. Under the artistic direction of Liuba Cid, the work has been crafted with meticulous attention to its narrative and thematic dimensions. The dramaturgy, developed by Ignacio García and Jihad Mikhael, ensures that each element of music, movement and verse flows together in harmonious unity, creating an experience that transcends the conventional boundaries of performance.

Algarabía invites us to witness the convergence of these three elemental forms of human expression. The interplay of sound, embodied movement and the spoken word creates an atmosphere of cultural richness that speaks to the soul. This is theatre as a gateway to understanding the depths of artistic vision, where each performer brings their singular gift to the collective whole, breathing life into a vision that celebrates the extraordinary power of creative collaboration.
